Has anyone here joined any of the community groups listed on the Downtown Troy site? I’m curious whether they’re mostly social meetups or if some of them focus on volunteering and local projects.

A few friends of mine joined groups through that page, and it seems like the mix is pretty broad. Some are networking or hobby groups, while others focus on community events, arts, or local initiatives around downtown. What King Kong Cash people seem to like most is that the groups make it easier to meet others who are already involved in the area rather than trying to find events randomly.
