How long have you been in business in Troy?

Hangin' Handmade Vendor Boutique first opened their doors in Downtown Troy in May 2024 and has been a staple for gifts and goodies ever since!

What do you sell?

Hangin' Handmade is a collective of local artists where they can sell their goods and art. Over 35+ makers call Hangin' Handmade their home. All are unique and sell something different!

What item are you excited to highlight this holiday season?

For the holidays, many of the resident makers offer incredibly themed seasonal items. It is a great way to showcase their work for the different seasons!

What makes Troy special to you?

"Troy is a home away from home, I'm from Brooklyn, and Troy is a city within this huge expanse of nature, it's amazing. Everyone is inclusive and accepting. We have so many different people come through our shop."

Why shop small this holiday season?

"For every $100 spent at a local business $68 flows back into the community. Local businesses contribute to larger institutions like Russel Sage, RPI, and the Center for Disability Services. Local businesses are more likely to contribute to the community that they reside in."

Anything else you'd like to share?

For the holidays Hangin' Handmade is offering a Small Business Saturday Special for spend $100 and receive a $10 gift card. Hangin' Handmade is also always looking for new vendors, if you're interested, reach out to Helen!
