The beautification team, added additional hanging baskets to our downtown totaling 100 baskets and over 20 planters with flowers.

Additional baskets and new brackets were made possible by the first ever Earth Day fundraiser hosted by the Whiskey Pickle raising over $1,300.

We hosted four volunteer clean-ups in Riverfront Park, Church Street Alley, Barker Park, and one large clean-up across Downtown Troy on Earth day.

We would like to thank the YMCA and United Way for partnering with us and helping us gather volunteers for our clean-ups.

We provided holiday light decorations on 3rd and Congress St and we hung 50 kissing balls and filled our planters with holiday greens throughout the district.

We will continue to expand on our holiday decor this year.

With the support of the Troy Redevelopment Foundation, we purchased the first of its kind, electric UTV, called the "Intimidator" to not only cut down on our carbon footprint, but to help us maintain the watering of flowers, day-to-day clean-ups and further maintenance around the downtown.

We aim to enhance our streets with additional blooms by expanding our collection of planters and hanging baskets. Our goal is to reach a total of 200 hanging baskets in 2025 adorning Downtown, adding even more vibrancy to our urban landscape.

We are initiating a program to address graffiti in our alleyways, aiming to kickstart the process of remediation. Our focus will be on cleaning up block by block, restoring the charm of our city one area at a time.

Would you like to consider tree adoption? We will be restarting our "Raise, Plant, Grow" initiative where you can donate to adopt an existing tree or contribute towards planting new ones in Downtown Troy.

Your name or business will be prominently displayed at the location of the tree you support. Join us in nurturing our urban greenery and leaving a lasting mark on our cityscape!

We are excited to announce the reactivation of our Downtown Troy maps, to be conveniently stationed at various kiosks throughout the downtown area. These updated maps will reflect the latest additions to our vibrant community, making it simpler for you to navigate and explore the plethora of new businesses. Whether you're looking to shop, dine, or seek entertainment, our refreshed maps will help you plan your adventure with ease!

This year we ask our community and partners to help us accomplish more. We are looking for any donation amount to help our Downtown and ensure our success in bringing better beautification efforts.

We care about where we live, play, shop and eat. Let's continue to make this our,

"Home on the Hudson."
