Downtown Troy's most delicious fall tradition is back! Join us for Chowderfest 2026 as restaurants and vendors serve up their best chowders in a friendly competition for People's Choice.

 

Sample your way through Downtown with $2, 4oz cups of chowder, enjoy live music, local shopping, and crisp autumn vibes along the Hudson.

With over 30–40 gallons of chowder prepared by each participant, this event draws more than 5,000 people ready to taste, vote, and celebrate the flavors of Troy. Whether you're a foodie, a family, or just love a warm cup of chowder on a fall afternoon, this is one event you won't want to miss!

• $2 samples of chowder (4oz each)

• Dozens of unique recipes from local chefs

• Live music throughout the afternoon!

• Live updates if vendors sell out so you can plan your tasting route

• Family-friendly entertainment with plenty of cozy spots to gather

Downtown Troy BID food vendors receive the discounted BID participation rate of $250.
