CHOWDERFEST

It's that time of the year, when you get the chance to try great chowder in Downtown Troy and restaurants have the chance to break away from their traditional menu and showcase unique chowder creations.
Explore the walkable Downtown district as you sample chowder, and other delicious treats from a diverse group of restaurants and purveyors. There is no up-front cost or presale ticket required to enjoy Chowderfest, as all samples are $4 per 4 oz cup.
Local businesses in Downtown Troy will serve their chowder out of their storefronts, while guest cooks from outside the downtown have the opportunity to partner with downtown businesses and bring their creative soups to the table.

May the Best Chowder Win
One of the highlights of the event will be our People’s Choice Award. Festival-goers will have the chance to sample chowders from each participating restaurant and cast their vote for their favorite. Answers will be recorded and winners will be chosen by 9:00 PM on the day of the event, adding an extra layer of excitement as we stir up some friendly local competition for the coveted title of Troy's Best Chowder.
