This isn't something I can really talk about with friends, so I'll ask here. My husband needs help several times a day because of his incontinence, and lately I've caught myself getting irritated over the smallest things. Not at him, just at the whole situation. Then I feel terrible for even thinking that way. Did anyone else go through this?

Absolutely. Caregiver fatigue doesn't always look like sadness—it can look like frustration too. I spent weeks thinking I was becoming a bad wife before I realized I was simply overwhelmed. Reading about caregiver support for urinary incontinence helped me understand that these feelings are actually common, and ignoring them only makes things worse. Once I started giving myself permission to rest and accepted help from others, that constant frustration slowly faded.
