with the return of Troy Pig Out!

Sunday, August 16 from 12 PM to 5 PM

Mark your calendars — the grills are firing up for one of the region's juiciest, smokiest summer traditions! Restaurants and pitmasters from across Downtown Troy are going head-to-head, serving up their best BBQ for a shot at the 2026 Pig Out Champion title.

This beloved summer tradition brings together Troy’s vibrant restaurant scene for an afternoon of food, drinks, and community fun.

Stroll through downtown and sample signature dishes, creative bites, and local favorites from participating restaurants and food vendors, all while enjoying live music, entertainment, and the energy of one of the Capital Region’s favorite food events!

Grab $4–$5 bites from each competitor as you make your way around downtown & vote for your favorite!

Admission is free. Food and drink available for purchase.

Troy Capsule Sealing Ceremony:

Troy is marking that milestone in a way that lasts. A community time capsule is being created to capture what life looks like in the city right now, to be sealed away and opened by the Troy of 2076.
