How long have you been in business in Troy?

Lightexture has been in Troy at 2 3rd St for over 3 years. The shop functions as both an assembly areas, as well as a showroom for their pieces.

What do you sell?

Lightexture specializes in unique lighting, all designed in house. They create ceramic lights, steamers, and from that work they have developed the "Iris Series".

What item are you excited to highlight this holiday season?

A newly designed desk lamp will hopefully be ready just in time for the holidays at Lightexture. Avner also offers gorgeous nightlights available in both silver and gold.

What makes Troy special to you?

"Troy is my home. I love the way the seasons change here, and I appreciate the city's manufacturing history, and, we're bringing it back!"

Why shop small this holiday season?

"When you shop small you make your town better. When you spend you money locally, it stays in your community, and it supports the businesses that make that area what it is. We all want more shops, makers, a nicer Troy, shopping small is how we help make that happen."

For the holidays Lightexture is creating a light-art structure pavillion in the corner store across from the bookstore!
