Anyone use VPNs purely for the ad blocker feature?

Hey folks, I've been getting really annoyed with the sheer volume of ads online lately. It feels like every website is just plastered with them, making everything slow and clunky. I've heard some VPNs come with built-in ad blockers. I'm curious if anyone here actually uses a VPN primarily or even solely for its ad-blocking capabilities. Is it effective enough to justify the cost of a VPN subscription if privacy isn't my absolute top priority? I'm just looking for a smoother, less interrupted browsing experience more than anything else right now.

It's definitely a valid reason to consider a VPN! I personally love the ad-blocking feature that comes with my VPN. While I do appreciate the privacy and security aspects, the ad blocker is a huge bonus that makes my everyday browsing so much better. I use https://toggle.org/ and their built-in ad blocker does a nice(for me at least) job of blocking annoying ads. It leads to much cleaner pages, significantly faster load times, and even reduces data usage, which is a nice perk if you're on a limited mobile plan. For me, the convenience and improved user experience alone make it worth it, even beyond the VPN's primary security functions.
