Furnace blowing cold air! Need a trustworthy HVAC tech in Niagara Falls

Hey everyone! I’m hoping someone here can help me out before my family turns into popsicles. We woke up this morning and noticed the house felt freezing, even though the thermostat is set to 22. I went down to the basement and realized the furnace is running, but the air coming out of the vents is completely cold. It’s like a giant fan just circulating the winter air around the house! I’m fairly new to the Niagara Falls area, so I don’t have a "regular" maintenance person yet. Honestly, I’m a bit nervous about just picking a random name from a flyer. I’ve heard horror stories about people being overcharged for simple igniter swaps or being told they need a whole new furnace when a small repair would do. Does anyone have a recommendation for a technician who is honest, local, and actually shows up on time? I really need someone who won't take advantage of an emergency situation. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the neighborhood, though I'm sorry it's under such chilly circumstances! I had almost the exact same issue last November—furnace was running but zero heat. It’s the worst feeling, especially with the damp wind we get here. After calling a couple of places that couldn't come out for three days, I found high-quality hvac services Niagara Falls https://superiorhvacservice.ca/niagara-falls/ and they were a total lifesaver.

The guy they sent was super down-to-earth. He figured out within ten minutes that it was just a clogged condensate line and a dirty flame sensor. He cleaned everything up, tested the cycle a few times to make sure it stayed hot, and even gave me some advice on which filters work best for our humidity levels. I really appreciated that he explained the bill clearly and didn't try to upsell me on some expensive "service plan." They seem like genuine pros who actually care about their reputation in the city. Give them a shout, they usually respond pretty fast to these kinds of "no heat" calls!
